Gluten Free Hamburgers (in places like Panama City Beach Florida) are one of the best quick meals to get while traveling for those with gluten allergies.
But, sometimes Gluten friendly hamburgers are hard to find. Fortunately, I’ve tried many place in PCB and have listed them for you here.
Where to Get Gluten Free Hamburgers in Panama City Beach Florida
Culver’s

Culver’s is my top choice. They have a good gluten free bun (in it’s own hermetically sealed plastic wrap), and their hamburger patties are out of this world. They put a great sear on the patty and it’s seasoned perfectly.
Culver’s also puts the gluten free burger into its own paper bag for extra safety.
This place is also fairly fast at getting food out. Generally, you can be in and out of the drive- thru in five minutes. Since most families want to spend time at the beach, Culver’s makes for a fast meal.
My only complaint is that they don’t have a dedicated fryer, so you can’t get gluten friendly french fries on the side.
Fatty Patty’s Cakes & Cafe

Fatty Patty’s is the only non-chain restaurant on the list. They close at 2:00 in the afternoon, so you can’t go there for dinner.
The hole in the wall is very popular among the locals and is known as having some of the best breakfast food in Panama City Beach.
When you order, ask to have your burger on one of their gluten free rolls and you will be served one of the best GF free hamburgers in the area.
TIP: You can also buy extra GF free rolls and take them back to your hotel or condo. Now, you can make breakfast sandwiches or anything you want.
Two Places for Gluten Free Burgers in Pier Park
Pier Park is a very touristy area in Panama City Beach. Lots of places to shop and many places to eat. But best of all, two places to get GF free burgers.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Red Robin has a pretty good gluten free hamburger. This a good family friendly place to go where there is something for everyone.
They are located on the northern side of Pier Park and there is always plenty of parking.
The Panama City Beach location has had a great staff every-time I’ve gone in. During “on season” (the summer months) there may be a wait, but it’s always been less than at other places in the Pier Park area.
Margaritaville

While the locals call Margaritaville an overpriced tourist trap, it’s actually one of my favorite places to eat in Pier Park. And best of all, they have really good gluten free hamburgers.
I like to travel with my dog, and it sits right across the PCB’s ‘Dog Beach’. And, like most places in the Florida panhandle area, you can dine with your dog on the patio.
At Margaritaville, I’m able to have a nice pet-friendly meal, while sitting on the patio, watching the beach and the gulf across the street. So, I can truly have a ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’.
The upper deck, called the ‘Bama Breeze Deck’ is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the water.
Other Places in the Panama City Beach Area
There are other places, like Wayback Burgers, that have a gluten free burger on their menu. But, the two times I’ve been in, I was told they didn’t have any buns and hadn’t had any for quite a while.
30A Burger

Just west of Panama City Beach near Rosemary Beach is a great little (kinda upscale) burger joint called 30A Burger.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Even though it’s technically not in PCB, it deserves a mention because of it’s delicious gluten free hamburger.
The closer you get to the 30A area (also called the Hamptons of the South), things tend to get more expensive. But, while 30A Burger is nicer than most hamburger places, it’s prices are not outrageous.
Don’t forget, if you want something fast while traveling, there are also good pizza places in the area.
