You’ll discover The Man in the Sea Museum on Panama City Beach Parkway. The museum was created in 1982 and since then has been visited by locals as well as thousands of tourists.

The present 5,000 sq ft museum sits on an acre of land on the Panama City Beach Parkway. It offers visitors a chance to glimpse treasures recovered from sunken ships from as far back as 1500. 

At this facility, there are also more recent commercial and naval equipment, vehicles, and habitats to see. Your entire family can climb through SEALAB I and other selected exhibits. 

The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise 

Take a break from the beach and hop aboard The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise and travel back in time to the carefree time of pirates. You’ll kick back and relax while your youngsters play under the watchful eyes of Capt. “Fearless” Phil and his friendly crew of buccaneers. 

The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise is family owned and operated by Captain “Fearless” Phil and his family. Born and raised in the Panama City Beach area, Capt. Phil has also been a SCUBA diving instructor, a First Aid/CPR instructor, and a lifeguard. You and your family will be in good hands on The Sea Dragon.

Panama City Beach Mardi Gras and Music Festival 

The Panama City Beach area of the Florida Panhandle, aka the Emerald Coast, is home to year-round festivals. But one festival that everyone knows is Mardi Gras, and Panama City Beach’s Mardi Gras and Music Festival is uniquely special. 

Panama City Beach Mardi Gras and Music Festival is an authentic Mardi Gras celebration. However, combining the festival with the beach air and spectacular views of the emerald-green sea is icing on the cake. The festival boasts two full days of great food, music, games, parades, and even fireworks presentations. 

However, not to be outdone, the city of Panama City Beach is also home to a yearly Scottish Festival that aims to bring Scotland to the beach. There is the Scottish Highland Games, Scottish Tea Room, Clan Tents, Children’s Tent, Highland Coos and Petting Zoo, Falconry, and a British Car Show.
