#1 Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum 

Located on N Federal Highway in Boca Raton, the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum offers a variety of local history that’s diverse and well presented. The history of Boca Raton can be explored at the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum, housed in the original 1927 Town Hall building.   

This museum holds permanent collections from the city’s time as an Army Air Corps base during World War II. They’re open from 9 AM – 7 PM Monday – Saturday and closed on Sunday. 

#2 Demetrius Klein Dance Company   

Opening its doors in 1986, Demetrius Klein Dance Company is South Florida’s oldest modern dance company. They focus mainly on site-specific modern dance projects and the creative process.  

Located on Lake Ave in Lake Worth, the site also provides education to interested dance students and provides collaborative services to partner cultural organizations. Prices vary depending on which program you’re participating in.  

#3 Spady Cultural Heritage Museum 

Located on 5th Ave in Delray Beach, the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum is a museum of African American history in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida. They also honor Haitian-American and Caribbean-American history via annual heritage festivals and trolley tours of its neighborhood in Delray Beach.

#4 Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens of West Palm Beach

Located on Barcelona Rd in West Palm Beach, the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens is a historic home, artist studio, and rare palm gardens. Their aim here is to enrich lives with nature, history, and art.  

You can visit the gardens Wednesday through Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM from November through June 2. Admission for adults is $15 per person, for seniors, it’s $10, children/students pay $7 and military personnel receive a 20% discount on daily admission with valid ID2. 

#5 Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts 

Located on 2nd Ave in Lake Worth, Florida, the Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts sits in a Historic FEC Train Depot just a few steps from the heart of downtown Lake Worth Beach. It’s a three-dimensional fine art fabrication facility dedicated to living and working artists as well as the local community.
