Here is a guide featuring Everything to Know About runDisney Orlando including facts about registration, attending the expo, and what to expect the day of.

What Exactly is runDisney?

runDisney is not your everyday Disney experience. It’s a series of races that take place at Disney locations throughout the world. Depending on the particular event, participants may run 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon distances.

Participants can either run or walk through the marathon which will take place within a Disney theme park. You can dress up Disney style or however you want.

And you can still experience Disney characters, live entertainment, photo ops, and more throughout the course. Once you’ve completed the course you receive a Disney-themed medal and colorful ribbon for completing the course.

Some of the bigger events take place at the Disney World Resort in Orlando. They include the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

How Does runDisney Registration Go Down?

Registration day occurs roughly eight months before each scheduled event. As the spots sell out so quickly, you might even call this day “the race to the races.”

First and foremost, you’ll need to open an account on the runDisney website. Next, get your profile setup and payment information stored before registration day.
