Their top sandwich is, of course, the Cubano which is with the simple ingredients of city ham, lechon, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread. However, their six specialty Cuban sandwiches from which to choose. This spot on open from 10 PM to 6 PM every day. 

Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina 

Also located on SW 8th St in Little Havana, Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina is hugely popular with locals as well as tourists. They’re a Cuban restaurant that serves traditional Cuban fare as well as Cuban cocktails.  

Aside from menu items such as Fricase de Pollo (Cuban chicken fricassee), Picadillo a Habanera and an assortment of fresh seafood dishes, Old’s Havan boasts seven different versions of the Cuban sandwich. They’re open from 11 AM to 11 PM every day except Friday and Saturday when they close at midnight.

On NE 29th St sits Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop, a cute little Cuban café that serves breakfast and lunch. They have an expansive menu and their coffee list is pretty long as well.

But no one could rave about the spot as well as this customer who said, “The food here was excellent.  It was so good we decided to go back for breakfast.  Highly recommend.  The Cubano had so much flavor best I ever had!   

The breakfast was so fresh and tasty.  Loved the coffee and toast.  It was not crowded when we went in and we went around 10 and 12.  I didn’t have any problems with the staff.  Can’t wait to go back to Miami just to stop in again.” 

Enriqueta’s is open from 7 AM to 3 PM Monday – Friday. They close at 2 PM on Saturday and are closed on Sunday.
