#1 Catch MLB Training Game 

If you visit Fort Myers in the spring, you may be treated to a Boston Red Sox training game. They play over 20 games at JetBlue Park on Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers. The state-of-the-art park, known as a miniature Fenway Park, holds up to 11,000 spectators. 

#2 Fort Myers Beach 

Who, in their right mind, would visit Fort Myers in Spring or Summer, without hitting the beach? Fort Myers Beach and Lover’s Key State Park on Estero Island is where you’ll discover the beach scene, complete with a strip to drive and a pedestrian area at the north end of the beach filled with charming shops and eateries.

#3 Sun Splash Waterpark 

Located on Santa Barbara Blvd in Cape Coral, Sun Splash Waterpark’s 14 acres boasts adrenaline-pumping speed slides, swimming pools, and more. If you’re really brave, you’ll want to take a ride on Cape Fear which takes you through a dark tunnel to a 30 feet high platform and then a 215 feet plunge into the pool below.

#4 Lakes Regional Park 

Located on Gladiolus Dr in Fort Myers sits Lakes Regional Park. It’s a former gravel quarry that has been converted into a beautiful 289-acre park great for family fun. The park boasts a playground and a ride on a miniature train. 

Take a boat ride on an artificial lake and watch large shoals of fish swimming in the water. Or you can have a picnic, play a game of volleyball, or get some exercise at the park’s fitness center.   

#5 Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf 

Located on Gulf Blvd in Madeira Beach, Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf offers a unique golfing experience mixing wildlife with entertainment. The miniature golf course features waterfalls and caves.  Each golf course has an educational exhibit that is home to around 30 alligators that guests get an opportunity to feed.
